Many Residents Can Qualify for Free Laptops from New Haven Free Public Library
FREE long-term device loans: Eligible residents can borrow a Dell Pro 16 Laptop with a Windows operating system for five years, with the possibility to own it after.
Protection: All laptops come with a five-year warranty that covers accidental damage protection, battery replacement, technical support, and more!
Eligibility
Are you:
* At least 18 years old?
* A New Haven resident with a current NHFPL Adult library card?
* A participant in one of the following assistance programs?
– Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
– Connecticut Energy Assistance Program (CEAP)
– Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
– Medicare
– HUSKY Health (Medicaid/The Children’s Health Insurance Program)
If you answered “yes” to all of the above questions, you might qualify!
Please note: Applicants must provide documentation demonstrating participation in a qualifying program in 2026 when they come to for the initial verification, such as an Official Benefit or Budget Letters from the Connecticut Department of Social Services.
